Instrument cables are ideal for stage use, where resistance to mechanical stress is of utmost importance. For this reason, they are manufactured with special attention to durability and strength. The EK.106 instrument cable and the EK.107SC guitar cable, designed for professional use, are protected from external signals by double shielding. Under the copper shield winding is a conductive plastic layer that provides protection against interference. Since the distance between this plastic layer and the specially insulated conductor never changes, regular electrical performance is ensured even under the heaviest loads, including crushing and bending. As a result of this effective insulation of the conductor, minimal capacitance, a clear sound and minimum losses are possible. The EK.106 and EK.107SC unbalanced cables with a diameter of 6 mm.Ø are produced in a wide range of colors with a PVC coating with special additives for better flexibility and durability.
